President's Letter
Wow - we're into May already. I can't believe how quickly
the time is flying by! It's so nice to see the weather improve, and see
green trees all around. I love Spring - I'm always glad that Winter is
behind us, and the stifling humidity of Summer isn't here yet.
Spring is a busy time in New 'N Towne, as we begin to wind
down for this year. We are having our Annual Meeting on the 4th at the
Masters Touch showroom, when we will swear in our incoming Executive Board
for next year. We also have a guest speaker - Betsy Scola from the Bay
Colony Rail Trail, who will be giving a presentation on her organization's
goal of establishing a recreational path utilizing old railways in Medfield
and the surrounding communities. It promises to be a very informative
evening, and all NNT members are welcome!
We are also looking forward to our annual Ice Cream Jam,
which is always a tremendously popular event. Make sure to get your
RSVP in - this event has sold out in the past, and it is open to the public.
This year we are featuring the Toe Jam Puppet Band, which adds to the
excitement of the event.
Our Big Rig fundraiser has also been rescheduled to take
place this month, after its weather-related cancellation in the Fall. So,
fingers crossed that Mother Nature will be kind this time!
As always, we have plenty of activities to keep us occupied
over the course of the month, so check out our calendar.
Hope to see you out and about!

Welcome to the Medfield New 'N Towne Web Site
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the New 'N Towne Web
site. This site will serve as a way for current and future
members of New 'N Towne to communicate about both the club
and what's happening in Medfield. The New 'N Towne Club
of Medfield began as an independent organization in 1969, having
formerly been part of Welcome Wagon International. Today, it is a
non-profit group whose aim is to provide community activities and
social contacts during a time of transition into a new
community.
The New 'N Towne Club also runs a number of fund raising
activities throughout the year that benefit the Town of Medfield.
In the past, proceeds have been donated to the public schools,
the library, and public areas, as well as to Medfield residents,
including the elderly, handicapped, economically deprived, and
students.
Through New 'N Towne, you can become better acquainted with
Medfield while contributing to a better town environment. We hope
you enjoy this Web site and find the information useful. If you
have any suggestions on how to improve this site, please contact the webmaster
